I lived at georgetown for 5 years. The apartments are in a wonderful location right next to the HSC. It is really nice to walk to school/work and almost never have to get into your car. This however is pretty much the only upside to these apartments. The apartments look state of the art but are built with ultra cheap materials. It felt like on windy nights the building might blow over, the deadbolt in the door would not stop anyone with a strong shoulder bump, and bass can be heard/felt many units away. Also, there is almost nothing separating the apartment units above and below and noise is a real problem. I am not that picky as some noise is to be expected with apartment living but with these apartments you can hear the telephone conversations of your neighbors through the floor. The staff is very rude consistently. I avoided them at all costs. However this is difficult as they feel free to come into your apartment whenever they please. I was home taking a nap in my birthday suit as they waltzed through the door and scared me half to death one day! Maintenance is sub-par at best. My A/C unit leaked water which I reported 3 times and it took them months to fix. I have never done an online review of anything however I feel compelled to as they treated me horribly and all I ever did was write them a rather large check monthly. Also they only allow Comcast entertainment (another company I would try and avoid) which is ridiculously overpriced. Oh and I almost forgot, I spent three days cleaning every inch of my empty apartment with my dyson vacuum in order to try and get my deposit back and they still took half! I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Good Luck! :)
